The Stitchbond fabric that can be used in the manufacture of mattresses and box springs to meet the requirements of 16 CFR 1633 US Federal Open Flame Mattress Flammability Standard.

When the Soster® series of fabrics are properly used to manufacture a mattress and box spring, no underlying barrier fabrics are needed.

Patents are pending for the entire Soster® system.
     
Soltex inc. is specialized in the production of these types of fabrics:

Soltex itself converts non-wovens such as stitchbond, spunbond, and other conventional fabrics such as knits and wovens at our facility in South Carolina.
Soltex prints, tints, and applies finishes for the the various industries that we service.
In addition to our printing and finishing operation, we also distribute the following products out of our on premise warehouse: luxurious jacquards and double knits that we import from various European and Asian markets.
